Directed towards the source of the emanations by the worker, the hood of the source capture arm is the inlet by which the contaminants will be collected.

Airex Industries offers a complete line of economical, sturdy, and efficient source capture arm. Our simple design utilizes a lightweight aluminum skeleton to support a heavy-duty flex hose and spun aluminum/or spun steel hood. The design eliminates the problems with complex parts, expensive replacement costs and special tools that may be required for service and maintenance. Custom source capture arm sizes are available upon request.

How it Works

An assortment of friction pads and steel springs help with the source capture arm mobility, flexibility and versatility while at the same time providing it the needed strength and stability to stay at any desired position.

Connected to an existing ventilation system, or to an externally mounted blower, the source capture arm uses the available suction power in order to seize the possible contaminants away from the critical breathing zone.
