GENERAL INFORMATION

PROVEN TECHNOLOGY

The Modular M Series is the ultimate solution for dust filtration of various applications without the use of any available compressed air. It is an automated, modular, shaker type, dust collector requiring minimal supervision and maintenance.



ADVANTAGES

EFFICIENT FILTER

The needle felt filter, made of 100 % polyester, supplies high efficiency filtration.

The fabric is specially treated to facilitate the removal of the dust particles.

Other types of filters fabrics are also available for special applications. The filter section consists of a number of inverted "V" shaped pockets stitched into a single filter element. The filter section is supported on the top by elastics and on the bottom by a metal frame.

FAN ASSEMBLY

The fan and motor are mounted on a vertical axis at the top of the unit. The impellor and its casing are inside the cabinet, while the motor is outside for easy maintenance. The impellor rotor blade is backward inclined, of high efficiency type and ensures maximum performance with minimal power consumption.

EASY & ECONOMIC MAINTENANCE

The modular system has a shaking mechanism that oscillates the filter frame in order to dislodge the dust build-up.

This operation prevents blockage of the filter and ensures an efficient functioning of the system.

To ensure regular cleaning of the filter element, the shaking mechanism is operated by a controller incorporating the fan starter that automatically brings the shaker motor into operation each time the fan is stopped. The 45-gallon drum is optional.



THEORY OF OPERATION

HOW THE M SERIES DUST COLLECTOR WORKS

The simple and efficient technology of the M series system integrates four main components: the cabinet, the filter section, the hopper and the dust collector bin.

Once the air enters the unit, a reduction in velocity occurs and the heavy particles fall into the dust collector’s bin. The fine dust is carried in the air stream upwards into the filter element. The air is propelled through the filter element while the dust is filtered out into the inside surface. Clean air can be recirculated or exhausted outside depending on the application.

Electrical equipment:

The shaker motors are normally supplied for single (120V) or three (600V) phase voltages. Fan motors are TEFC (Totally Enclosed and Fan Cooled.) and vary in size from 2 HP to 15 HP.
