GENERAL INFORMATION
The Airex Cyclopulse is our unique concept for critically heavy dust load applications dust collector.
The cyclopulse is equipped with a cyclonic pre-separation module allowing for use in high dust loads by limiting the particles to be filtered in its media-filtering module. Its remarkable efficiency is the result of many efforts in R & D testing and will meet the most unforgiving standards in the industry.
The Airex Cyclopulse dust collector ranks among the top available collectors for the wood processing industry and other heavy load applications.
ADVANTAGES
- Top access eliminates dirty side entry to change and service the bags
- Maximum filtration can be obtained through selection of certain items that include bag types, can velocity, collector shape and arrangement
- Steel internal cage supports are used to keep the bag form
- Snap-bands hold the bags in place
- No tools are required to remove the bags
- Standard cages and bags are easily available on the market
- Can operate at high temperatures up to 800˚F (special bags required)
- Large and heavy loading capacity
- Easily pulse cleans sticky and stringy materials
- Resists chemical products
- Resists humidity
- Stable pressure differential
- Energy recovery
- Maximum efficiency
- Adjustable pulse jet cycle
- NFPA Construction
THEORY OF OPERATION
HOW THE CYCLOPULSE WORKS [PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONS]
- The dust first travels toward the inside of the pre-separator.
- The cyclonic effect drops the larger dust particles into the cone and anti-vortex for disposal.
- The remaining fine particles flow toward the media filtering module and are captured on the exterior surface of the bags.
- Air is filtered and recirculated while the bags are periodically cleaned by the Airex pulse jet system maintaining a constant differential pressure.

COMPRESSED AIR CLEANING SYSTEM
The dust particles accumulate on the exterior surface of the bags and at regular intervals a volume of compressed air is injected through the blow pipes to the venturi tube that will then induce a shock wave along the bags and particles will fall toward the bottom of the hopper.
Our self-cleaning system is built to reduce the consumption of compressed air by an optimum concept of nozzles and venturis.
