	DATE [YYYY.MM.DD] 2009-03-16 TITLE WOOD TORREFACTION OVEN - THERMOTRANSFORMATION - FEBX500 MAIN TEXT The FEBX500 is Airex Industries' new creation for wood torrefaction which is a process used to treat wood. The temperature is maintained at a higher level than the drying temperature of the wood but also kept in check at a degree lower than its carbonisation temperature. The result, due to chemical modification, is a wood with properties which are different from those of untreated wood.
