TR & TRP Series

Top Access Baghouse Dust Collector

As the description of their name implies, the TR and TRP models of top access baghouse dust collector allow users to change the filters via an access plenum at the top of the baghouse’s chamber unlike their inside access brethren.

Compared to numerous air pollution control devices, the dry fabric filter is by far the most efficient and reliable. Unlike other filtering methods, variations in dust loading or air volume will not change the outlet conditions of a well-designed dry fabric collector. The pulse jet system outperforms conventional dry fabric filter units since it allows the use of highly efficient felt fabric filters.

The dust particles accumulate on the exterior surface of the bags. Compressed air is injected at regular intervals through the blow pipes to the venturi tube. A shock wave is then sent along the bags and particles fall to the bottom of the hopper.

Using top quality needle felt media of appropriate weight and construction allows for maximum filtering efficiency. A full range of synthetic felts is available to meet your specific requirements: Fibreglass, Polyester, Nylon, Nomex, etc. All bags are accessed from the top of the baghouse dust collector thus eliminating the need for dirty side entry to change and service the bags. There are two variants of the top access baghouse dust collector: the TR and the TRP series. The main difference is that the TRP series has plenum, an enclosure that can actually accommodate a user inside it and allows that person to access and change the filtering media regardless of the weather conditions.
