Bin vent baghouse dust collector id specifically designed to work on top of silo to filter debris and dust particles that tend to form naturally at the top of the storage container once it is filled by the pneumatic conveying system.
When comparing different pollution control equipment, the dry fabric filter is found to be the most efficient and reliable by far. Unlike the other filtering methods, variations in dust loading or air volume will not change the outlet conditions of a well-designed dry fabric collector. The pulse-jet system outperforms conventional dry fabric filter units since it allows the use of highly efficient felt filter fabrics.
Using top quality needle felt media of appropriate weight and construction allows for maximum filtering efficiency. A full range of natural and synthetic felts is available to meet your specific requirements: Glass, Polyester, Nylon, Nomex, etc.
- Operates with constant pressure drop controlled with an electronic adjustable timer
- Reduced maintenance due to few mechanical parts
- Maximum filtration can be attained by selecting specific items such as bag type, can velocity, collector shape and arrangement.
- Steel internal cage supports are used to keep the bag form. Quick-clamps hold the bags in place. Bags and cages are accessed from below the tube sheet within the dirty side of the bin vent baghouse dust collector.
- Ability to operate with very high grain loading, up to 100 grains per cubic foot
- Efficient, compact and specifically designed to go along with silos, storage bins, or conveyor transfer points
- Units are directly installed on bins or silos, eliminating ductwork and reducing installation expenses.
- Utilizes standard cartridges or filter bags making it easier to obtain replacement filters without being bound to one provider because of a proprietary cartridge design.
- Choice of filter cartridges or bags provide high filtration efficiency for a broad range of applications.
How Bin Vent Baghouse Dust Collector Works
The dust is collected outside the filter bags. At regular intervals, a burst of metered compressed air is injected through the venturis thus creating a longitudinal shockwave along the fabrics that dislodges the agglomerated dust on the outside of the bags of the bin vent baghouse dust collector and makes it fall into the silo.
