Challenge

The problem stems from deburing and machining metal tubes that create metal fines and dust. This poses health and maintenance issues.

Solution

A special plexiglass enclosure and custom hood pick up’s allow for minimum air volume with maximum cleaning efficiency. The strategically placed flexible pick up’s with self supporting hose created source capture efficiency while maintaining a negative pressure and air change within the enclosure to ensure minimal leakage.

This global effect reduced the emissions and created a safe workable surrounding environment.
